The LT — MDA line is designed for the production of three-layer medical masks of non-woven materials, it is characterized by high performance up to 150pcs / min

Technical process

The technological process includes feeding of source material, slitting and welding of the nose bridge wire, further gluing and trimming of the presets, then feeding to the conveyor, automated trimming and welding of the ear bands in one or two streams.

Main components

Unwinding unit

Unwinding unit is designed for fixing 3-4 rolls with non-woven material and reels with wire for nasal fixation. Rolls are fastened by cones. The web tension system is applied using belts with a weighting material.

Feeding unit  of wire and welding into the mask base

 The pinch roller system captures the wire and forcibly guides between the layers of the mask material. The ultrasonic welding unit forms a closed pocket in the upper part of the mask to fix the wire in the center.

Unit of  folding and welding of the mask base around its perimeter.

To ensure a high speed of mask production, this unit was separated from the wire welding unit. The plates lay the folds in the middle part of the mask, after which the mask base is welded along the perimeter with the help of a second ultrasonic welding unit. A rotary knife separates the base of the mask from the continuous web, the ejection shafts spread the mask on an intermediate conveyor.

Receiving conveyor

The conveyor receives the blanks of the masks and moves them to the first and second nodes of the formation of the ear elastic bands.

Elastic ear  band forming unit

This unit stretches the elastic band from the reel, cuts it to size, and perform  ultrasonic welding to the mask base. After welding the elastic band, the finished masks fall on the finishing conveyor for collection and packaging.
